NativePrep 1.0.5-beta.3 — Windows beta installation

Windows x64 is required. The engine is bundled; Python, Node.js and Rust are not required.

BEFORE DOWNLOADING: SECURITY WARNINGS
This is an unsigned early beta. Your browser may warn that the EXE could harm
your device, or Windows may say the app is unrecognized. A new, unsigned app
can have insufficient download/publisher reputation. The warning alone does
not establish malware, but it is not proof that the app is safe either.
Download only through NativePrep.com or the official GitHub release linked above.
Compare the file's SHA-256 with SHA256SUMS.txt on that release before deciding
to run it. A matching checksum confirms the release file, not its safety.
Do not disable antivirus, SmartScreen or your organization's protections.
The portable ZIP contains unsigned executables too; it is not a warning bypass.
If antivirus names a specific threat, stop and report the detection name,
browser/Windows version and app version. Do not attach private datasets.

INSTALLER
Close NativePrep before installing or updating, then run the setup EXE.
The beta is unsigned, so Windows may show a publisher warning. Verify the source
and checksum before deciding to run it. Do not disable your antivirus.
If installation reports a locked DLL, cancel, close NativePrep and its engine,
then retry. Do not skip a required file.

PORTABLE ZIP
Extract the entire ZIP into a writable folder, such as Downloads\NativePrep.
Open the extracted folder and launch local-prep-studio.exe.
Keep the binaries folder beside the EXE. Do not run directly inside the ZIP.
WebView2 Runtime is required by the desktop shell; an unmanaged Windows machine
may need the Microsoft runtime installed before the application can launch.

FIRST TASK
Start with built-in sample data or copies of your files. Run a sample pipeline,
inspect its preview and export the result. Save your project for reuse.
Keep original files and project backups while evaluating the beta.

LIMITS
The import cap is 1 GiB per file. CSV and Excel imports can require substantially
more RAM than file size. Installation, upgrade and uninstall on a separate clean
Windows machine have not yet been verified.

Updates are manual: download a later beta and close the current app before updating.
